This is a unique opportunity for a passionate and commercially minded Senior Merchandise Planner to join a collaborative, forward-thinking team.
Key Responsibilities
- Optimise stock levels and allocations to meet sales targets, minimise excess inventory, and support seasonal or promotional activity.
- Develop and manage planning tools to accurately forecast demand based on historical trends and market changes.
- Analyse KPIs like sales, profit, markdowns, and stock turns to drive performance and guide decision-making.
- Track and report on product trends, making data-led recommendations to maximise sales and reduce markdowns.
- Conduct ongoing sales and profit forecasting to support business performance and margin improvement initiatives.
- Develop and evaluate promotional and markdown strategies to enhance revenue, margin, and inventory efficiency.
- Build well-balanced merchandise assortments aligned with customer demand, style trends, and seasonal factors.
- Partner closely with Buying, Marketing, Ecommerce, and Finance to align strategies and deliver business goals.
- Mentor and support planning team, promoting a collaborative and performance-driven planning culture.
