About DCE Data Capture Experts builds DC2Vue, Australia's connected care platform for multidisciplinary providers across acute, community, mental health, home care, and disability settings. The Role The Technical Delivery Engineer is a hybrid role that bridges software engineering, release management, and client communication — making sure DC2Vue releases, technical solutions, and software updates deploy smoothly to our customers. It's a hands-on, data-centric role: strong SQL is at its core, as you'll work directly with the data behind every deployment, migration, and issue investigation.

Key responsibilities
• Release deployments: Manage the technical activities involved in rolling out DC2Vue releases to customer and production environments
• Testing and validation: Verify the quality, stability, and integrity of code, data, and system deployments
• Issue investigation: Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical problems that arise during or after a deployment — often by digging into the data with SQL
• Bridge communication: Act as the link between our product and engineering teams and our customer-facing teams and stakeholders
• Process improvement: Build, refine, and automate CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and upgrade processes
• Data and integration delivery:



Support data migrations and healthcare integrations (including API/HL7) as part of customer deployments Skills & qualifications
• Strong, demonstrable SQL expertise — essential. Comfortable writing SQL queries, working across large datasets, and reasoning about relational data models.
• Technical stack: Scripting experience (CAML) and relational databases.
• DevOps & tooling: Experience with Git, CI/CD automation pipelines, and infrastructure or deployment tools.
• Problem-solving: Strong analytical skills to diagnose complex software or system failures under pressure.
• Communication: Clear, confident communicator who can explain technical issues to both engineers and customers.
• Highly regarded: Experience with healthcare interoperability (HL7, FHIR), data migration, or health software.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or IT.
