Permanent Part-time position available

We are seeking Support Workers who:

• are experienced or show a keen interest in working with a range of our clients in their home, with outings, supporting their day-to-day personal care and social needs.

• can commit to a 24-hour care period (8 hours of active support provided during this period) on a rotational 3 weekly roster which includes weekdays, weekends & public holidays, including over the Christmas period.

A snapshot of your day as our Home Care Support Worker

With Clients across the region every day looks a little different. But there will be a few core activities that you will become a pro at as you provide fabulous, person-centred care such as:

• Support activities in the home, as well as outings which include appointments and shopping

• Providing personal care to our clients when required (showering, dressing – things we take for granted)

• Medication Assistance

•Assistance with cooking, cleaning, and other household chores (the small stuff makes a huge difference!)

• 24-hour care shifts performing 8 hours of active support on these shifts including sleeping in the client’s home

Our ‘must haves’

• A genuine passion to make a difference

• Verification of Primary Course of COVID-19 vaccinated (or willing to obtain 1 dose). MyGov COVID-19 Certificate





• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance Check (or willing to obtain post interview)

• NDIS Orientation Module (online) Certificate

• Current Australian “C” Class Drivers Licence with no restrictions

• Reliable, roadworthy, licensed and fully insured vehicle

• Evidence of Motor Vehicle Registration

• Evidence of Third Party (property) Vehicle Insurance

• Visa details (if relevant)

Our ‘nice to haves’

• Working With Children Card

• Experience in the industry

• A Certificate III or higher in a relevant discipline

A set roster

A set 3-week rotational roster – know what your work commitments are in advance.

Work less days and still earn above award salary:

Work 2 to 3 full 24-hour periods (throughout the week) and enjoy the rest of your week off
