About The Opportunity

The primary purpose of this position is to assist qualified electricians with electrical installations across commercial office fit-out and new build construction projects, while continuing to develop your trade skills towards becoming a licensed electrician.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting with electrical installations across office fit-outs and current build projects
- Undertaking rough-in and fit-off of cabling, lighting, power and containment
- Reading and working from electrical drawings and plans under supervision




- Assisting with testing and fault-finding as directed by qualified electricians
- Following site safety procedures and onsite HSEQ requirements at all times
- Maintaining tools, equipment and a clean, organised work area
- Travelling between project sites across Melbourne’s CBD and surrounds

About You

The successful candidate will have:

- Currently completing a 2nd or 3rd year electrical apprenticeship
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Current White Card (Construction Induction)
- Current Working With Children Check (required)
- EWP Licence (preferable)
- Previous exposure to commercial construction or office fit-out projects (highly regarded)
- A strong work ethic, eagerness to learn and a commitment to safety
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
