Petalas Gardens are currently looking for an apprentice horticulturalist to join our company.

About our Business Petalas Gardens is a small, bespoke garden maintenance company that delivers high quality and precision garden maintenance to bayside, inner eastern and south eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

About you We are seeking an apprentice to join our team - 1st, 2nd or 3rd years are encouraged to apply.

We will support your training to complete a certificate 3 in Parks and Gardens/Horticulture at TAFE, whilst providing on the job experience.

Must have a Victorian Drivers Licence as this job requires travel between multiple locations throughout the day (km's included in salary).





About the role

General maintenance including; lawn mowing, hedge trimming, edging, weeding and blowing

caring for, identifying and planting various plants

working with fertilisers and other chemicals for garden health and pest control

Irrigation installation, management and repairs

The successful candidate will

Be keen to learn and take direction.

Motivated with valuable problem-solving skills.

Be trustworthy and reliable.

Have a Victorian drivers licence.

To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.
