Electronic / Software Specialist – MAF OCEANIA PTY LTD About the role We are seeking an

Electronic / Software Specialist

to join our dynamic team at

MAF OCEANIA PTY LTD , based in

Bacchus Marsh, Victoria . In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of advanced fruit grading and packing automation systems across Australia. You will contribute to ensuring optimal performance of our electronic and software technologies—supporting our customers’ production efficiency and product quality. What you’ll be doing Install and configure

electronic and software components including weighing systems, cameras, lighting, solenoids, and industrial computers in our workshop and at customer sites. Calibrate and test

electronic systems to guarantee accurate fruit size and quality grading before delivery and during commissioning. Diagnose and repair

mechanical and electronic faults within the sorting lines, including weighing bridges, fruit rotation systems.. Ensure

accurate connections and data correlation between fruit characteristics and the sorting system’s grading response Update and manage

sorting system software (grading programs, batch management, statistics tools) and ensure optimal data correlation between hardware and software. Troubleshoot remotely and on‑site , analysing mechanical, electronic, and software issues to minimise downtime. Train customers and internal teams

on operation, maintenance, and performance optimisation of MAF systems. Collaborate with MAF France, Spain, and other subsidiaries

for technical support and to promote new technologies, including AI‑based fruit sorting developments. What we’re looking for Proven experience as an

electronic technician ,



ideally within industrial or agricultural automation. Robust understanding of MAF

electronic and software technologies , such as GLOBLASCAN 7, VIOTEC 7, ORPHEA, IDD8, and AI Smart Tuning. Proficiency in troubleshooting electronic, and software systems. Competent in the use of diagnostic tools and calibration equipment. Excellent communication and customer service skills; ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues. Working knowledge of French would be mandatory for liaising with MAF Group subsidiaries. Willingness to travel across Australia and occasionally overseas for training or service missions.
