Labourer / Forklift Operator
to join a busy warehouse and production team. This is an ongoing prospect with consistent weekday hours and the potential to secure permanent employment for the right person.

About the Role You will play an important role in keeping stock moving efficiently between warehouse, powder coating and assembly departments.
Duties
Operating a forklift to move stock, including metal bars stored in crates, between departments
Moving materials from racking to powder coating, assembly and back to the warehouse
Picking and packing orders and matching labels against stock
Loading and unloading stock from racking,
using a combination of forklift operation and manual handling
Manually handling metal bars, averaging approximately 30 bars per day
Putting stock away and maintaining organised storage areas
Conducting inventory and stock checks
Understanding and applying safe load restraint practices
Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times
Please note: This role involves regular manual handling and physical work, alongside forklift operation.
What You’ll Need
A current
LF Forklift Licence
(ESSENTIAL)
Previous warehouse experience, preferred
Good physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual handling duties
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A reliable attitude and commitment to workplace safety
An understanding of load restraints and safe material handling
