Boilermaker ? This is an exciting opportunity to join an experienced team and gain hands‑on experience across a wide range of industries and engineering projects.

As a

1st Year Certificate III Engineering – Heavy Fabrication (Boilermaking) Apprentice , you’ll work across both workshop and site environments, learning from highly experienced tradespeople while developing a broad range of practical engineering and fabrication skills.

What You’ll Be Doing You’ll be exposed to a wide variety of work, including:

Fabrication and sheet metal work

Welding and mechanical components

Machine maintenance across a variety of industries

Machine installation and relocation

Modification and design of machinery

Shutdown work

Machining and optical alignments

Rigging and pipe work

General engineering and maintenance tasks

Problem-solving and fault‑finding

Working safely on‑site and in the workshop

No two days will necessarily be the same, giving you the chance to develop a

wide range of skills and experience

throughout your apprenticeship.

Committed to completing their apprenticeship and learning the trade

Interested in engineering, machinery, welding and mechanical components

Confident with

Mathematics and English

Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

Well presented, enthusiastic and reliable
