to join our client's busy manufacturing team. This is a hands-on workshop role suited to someone with a strong industrial background who enjoys working with tools, assisting tradespeople and supporting maintenance and production operations. If you have practical welding skills, workshop experience and a proactive approach to getting the job done,
this could be the prospect for you Your Responsibilities Assisting qualified tradespeople with maintenance and repair tasks Using a variety of hand and power tools Carrying out welding tasks as required Supporting maintenance and production operations Assisting with general workshop duties Following workplace safety procedures and maintaining a tidy work area Working independently and as part of a team About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Previous experience in a manufacturing, industrial or workshop environment Welding knowledge or hands-on welding experience – mandatory Current LF Forklift Licence – essential Experience assisting tradespeople or maintenance teams Confidence using hand and power tools A strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail A reliable, safety-focused attitude and strong work ethic What's on Offer? $36.00 per hour casual rate Monday to Friday roster Consistent weekday hours Opportunity for permanent employment Immediate start for the right candidate On-call or weekend work may occasionally be required, but is extremely infrequent
