Fleetwood is looking for an experienced Site Estimator to join our team based at our High Wycombe manufacturing facility.
This is an prospect to take ownership of estimating across the site delivery component of our modular construction projects, developing accurate and commercially competitive pricing for site works, transport and installation packages.
With a company vehicle provided, the role will also give you the opportunity to get out to site and stay connected to the practical delivery of the projects you’re estimating.
Working across Design, Projects, Manufacturing, Sales and our external contractor network, you’ll review drawings and specifications, build scopes and estimates, assess project risks and identify smarter, more cost-effective ways to deliver our projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Review tender documentation, specifications and drawings to develop accurate and competitive estimates
- Prepare pricing for site works, transport and installation packages across modular construction projects
- Develop RFQs and scopes of work and assess subcontractor and supplier quotations
- Complete first-principles estimating and identify opportunities to improve project value and cost efficiency
- Assess project risks, scope changes and potential cost impacts throughout the estimating process
- Collaborate with Design, Projects,



Manufacturing and Sales teams to ensure estimates reflect project requirements
- Prepare cost reports, estimate submissions and supporting documentation for tender reviews
- Maintain accurate estimating records and contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processes

About You

You’ll be an experienced estimator with a good understanding of construction and site delivery, who enjoys getting into the detail while keeping an eye on the bigger commercial picture. You’ll be comfortable working across multiple projects and building relationships with internal teams, subcontractors and suppliers.

What you'll bring

- Previous estimating experience withinconstruction, civil works, building services or modular construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, site works, sequencing and project delivery
- Ability to interpret architectural, engineering and construction drawings and specifications
- Experience preparing scopes of work and assessing subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Strong commercial acumen, analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
- Experience using estimating software such as CostX or si
