‍ Full-Time Chef – Indoor Play Café (Daytime Hours)

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Full-Time Chef to join our busy indoor play café.

Our venue is a fun, family-oriented space with a strong focus on weekend parties and functions. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced workplace and want a role with daytime hours only (no late nights!) , this could be the perfect fit.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and deliver high-quality café-style meals

- n

Manage kitchen operations during busy service periods, especially weekends

n
- n

Coordinate food preparation for parties and functions

n
- n

Control food costs, stock ordering, and minimise waste

n
- n

Plan and manage staff rosters effectively

n
- n

Maintain high standards of food safety and kitchen hygiene

n
- n

Work closely with front-of-house team to ensure smooth service

n

About You

n

- n

Proven experience as a chef in a busy café or similar environment

n

Strong ability to handle high-volume service, particularly on weekends

n
- n

Skilled in cost control, budgeting, and stock management

n
- n

Experience with staff rostering and kitchen organisation

n
- n

Reliable, efficient, and a team player

- n

Must be available to work weekends and public holidays
