We are seeking compassionate, experienced Support Workers who are passionate aboutproviding person-centred support that promotes dignity, choice, safety, and independence.

- Support participation in community programs that bring joy, connection, and experiences worth remembering.
n
n
- Assist with daily living tasks - personal care, meal prep, and nutrition - ensuring participants live comfortably and confidently.
n
n
- Provide safe mobility assistance, including hoist transfers and manual handling.
n
n
- Support individuals with complex behaviours, including behaviours of concern, non-verbal communication, and property damage, in a safe and respectful way.
n
n
- Support clients with epilepsy management and PEG feeding, ensuring their safety and comfort.
n
n
- Keep accurate records and progress notes, ensuring continuity of care that enhances participant experiences.
n

nESSENTIAL n

- Genuine desire to provide the best quality support for people with disabilities
n
n
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work and communicate effectively with clients, their families, community agencies and other professionals.
n
n
- Ability to work in a very busy setting and to work both independently and as a part of a team.
n
n
- Understanding of privacy and confidentiality issues.
n
n
- A cleared Working with Children Check and National Criminal Record Clearance.
n
n
- NDIS Worker Orientation Certificate
n
n
- Apply First Aid and CPR certification
n
n

n
nDESIRABLE n
n

n
- Trained or experienced with medication administration
n
n
- Certificate III in Disability or other relevant qualification or working towards obtaining qualification within 12 months.
n
n
- Experience in the delivery of personal care services and/or challenging behaviours is viewed favourably
