Working in a high-performing digital engineering team building secure, modern, large-scale applications, you'll deliver end-to-end front-end features while contributing to backend microservices in a collaborative environment. Banking or financial services experience is essential. n

Salary : up to $185K pkg (inc super) perm, or $200K max termn
Essential Skills & Experience: n
nFront-End Development (React)n
n

n
- Very strong commercial experience with React
n
- Experience delivering end-to-end front-end features independently
n

Back-End Development (Java) nn
- Experience developing microservices using Java 11+ (Java 17 preferred)
n
- Solid understanding of Spring Boot
n
- Exposure to relational and/or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
n
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
n

n
nAPI & Integration Cloud, DevOps & Tooling n

n
- Experience working in modern cloud environments (AWS strongly preferred)
n
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows
n
- Understanding of modern observability tooling (logging, metrics, monitoring)
n

Highly Desirable (not essential)n
n

n
- Experience with micro-frontend architectures
n
- Knowledge of AWS ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, CloudFront
n
- Familiarity with message queues (Kafka, SQS, RabbitMQ)
n
- Exposure to identity, verification, or security-focused applications
n
- Experience with automated testing tools (Cypress, Playwright, Jest, React Testing Library)
n
- Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG)
n

What you'll be doing: n

- Building high-quality user interfaces using React
n
- Working closely with UX, Product,



and Engineering teams to deliver front-end features end-to-end
n
- Contributing to backend feature development using Java and Spring Boot
n
- Integrating with REST APIs and ensuring smooth front-end/back-end communication
n
- Participating in design discussions, stakeholder walkthroughs, and technical planning
n
- Writing clean, well-tested, maintainable code across the stack
n
- Supporting releases, production environments, and continuous improvement initiatives
n
