Cyber Security Engineer Brisbane | Contract | Cyber Security Upliftn

Join a major cyber security uplift program focused on implementing and operationalising enterprise security controls across a large and complex technology setting.

This is a hands‑on Cyber Security Engineering role supporting Essential Eight and NIST maturity initiatives across application control, patching, application hardening, privileged access and identity governance.

Key responsibilities:n

n
- Implement and operationalise cyber security controls across enterprise environments
n
- Support PAM, PIM, IAM and IGA initiatives
n
- Contribute to Essential Eight uplift across application control, patching and hardening
n
- Work with Azure, SSO and authentication technologies
n
- Support the transition of security solutions from project delivery into BAU operations
n




- Collaborate with technology and security stakeholders to improve cyber maturity
n

About you:nn
- Significant experience as a Cyber Security Engineer or similar
n
- Strong experience implementing and operationalising cyber security controls
n
- Experience with PAM/PIM, IAM or IGA solutions
n
- Exposure to BeyondTrust, SailPoint, Azure/Entra ID or similar technologies
n
- Understanding of Essential Eight and/or NIST security frameworks
n
- Strong understanding of identity, privileged access, SSO and authentication
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
n

Experience with Patch My PC, Airlock Digital, BeyondTrust or SailPoint will be highly regarded, but equivalent enterprise technologies will also be considered.
