The role

As the Warehouse Supervisor for the Hume, ACT site, you will:

n
n

n
n
- Establish systems and processes to develop site performance

n
n
- Manage site costs across the warehousing, transport and yard operations

n
n
- Plan and forecast stock and inventory levels to meet customer demands

n
n
- Review and analyse branch costs and make recommendations for business improvements

n
n
- Lead a small warehouse team to achieve DIFOT target and SLA's

n
n
- Introduce ‘Best Practice’ warehouse and site management systems that optimise stock movement, warehouse workflow and warehouse layout

n
n
- Review, plan and manage labour and casual workforce needs





n
n
- Manage and promote company QA and WHS

n
n
- Work with the National Supply Chain Manager to coordinate and manage stock transfers across Australia

Requirements n

The requirements

n

To be successful in the role, you must have proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, preferably working for a commercial organisation in the construction or industrial services sector. You will have:

n
n

n
n
- Exceptional people leadership and business management skills

n
n
- Strong decision-making capability with the ability to manage operating costs and staff performance

n
n
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills

n
n
- Experience introducing and delivering continuous improvement initiatives

n
n
- Qualified qualifications in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics or Warehouse Management, and forklift licence will be highly regarded

n
