n They are looking for an experienced Senior Databricks Engineer to join a high-performing technology team and play a key role in the backend migration and modernisation of a critical enterprise Investment Data Platform.n
n
Role Overview n
n
nThis role will see an experienced backend/data engineer work collaboratively with a team of highly skilled Investment Data Technology specialists and investment stakeholders.n
n
n You will help design, build and migrate scalable backend data solutions using Databricks, AI, Python and SQL, supporting critical investment, reference and security data across the organisation.n
n
Experience and Skillsn

n
- Strong commercial Databricks engineering experience
n
- Excellent Python and SQL development skills
n
- Robust backend and data engineering experience
n
- Solid AI experience
n
- Experience building and maintaining complex ETL / ELT and data pipelines
n
- Experience with large-scale enterprise data platforms




n
- Investment Management, Asset Management, Superannuation or Financial Markets experience highly regarded
n
- Experience with Investment Data Platforms highly regarded
n
- Security Master, Reference Data, Market Data and/or Investment Data experience advantageous
n
- Strong understanding of data modelling, data quality and data integration
n
- Cloud data engineering experience
n
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills
n
