Responsibilities

Reporting to the Operations Manager and working along a highly skilled and experienced team.

- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on rail equipment and systems.
- Diagnose faults, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and identify equipment failures.
- Carry out repairs and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with strict safety, quality, and operational procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to maximise equipment reliability and performance.

Your Profile

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent qualification.




- Previous maintenance experience in rail, industrial, manufacturing, or heavy industry environments.
- Strong mechanical fault-finding, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Site Location: Lilyfield, NSW

Contract Duration: 6 months, with the potential for permanent employment

PayRate: $62.69 per hour + super + applicable penalties

Roster: Rotating day and night shifts; Day shift: 5 AM – 4 PM and Night shift: 4 PM – 3 AM Rotating pattern : 5 days on / 2 days off, followed by 2 days on / 5 days off

Pre-Employment Requirements

Successful candidates will be required to complete:

- Category 1 Rail Medical
- National Police Check
- Standard pre-employment and onboarding checks
