About thePosition Our Wests New Lambton site is currently seeking a casual Patisserie Attendant to join our Catering team.
This is a varied role working predominantly across two of our busiest food outlets, Emporium 88 and The Patisserie , providing excellent service and quality food to our members and guests.
This position offers a mix of front and back of house responsibilities.
In Emporium 88 , you will utilise your cooking skills to prepare and serve menu items including burgers, pizzas, gyros, chips and other quick-paced café style meals.
In The Patisserie , your focus will be on customer service, barista coffee preparation and food preparation, including sandwiches, wraps, salads and other grab-and-go offerings.
Duties will include: Providing friendly and efficient service to members and guests Making barista coffee and other hot beverages Preparing, cooking and serving food in Emporium 88 Preparing sandwiches, wraps, salads and other items in The Patisserie Assisting with food preparation and presentation across both outlets Operating tills and processing transactions Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety Assisting with the setup and pack down of workstations Working collaboratively with the wider Catering team to deliver a great customer experience Please note that this role requires flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekdays, weekends, evenings and split shifts.
Above-award casual pay rates Monday to Friday: $***** per hour Saturday: $***** per hour Sunday: $***** per hour About You You are someone who can work under pressure while maintaining high standards of food quality and customer service.
You enjoy working in a fast-paced hospitality environment and are equally comfortable serving customers, making coffee and assisting with food preparation and cooking.
To be successful in this role, you will have: Previous experience in a café, catering,



quick-service restaurant or similar hospitality environment Barista experience and confidence preparing coffee and hot beverages Experience preparing and cooking food in a commercial kitchen, café or fast-paced food service environment A strong commitment to customer service Knowledge of safe food handling and hygiene practices Strong teamwork and communication skills Good availability across weekdays and weekends If you are looking for a diverse hospitality role that combines customer service, barista duties, food preparation and cooking experience, we would love to hear from you.
