My client is a leading and established chartered accounting name seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing team. They work with a range of family-owned businesses, HNW families, start-ups, medium to larger corporate organisations in IT, qualified services, manufacturing, retail and medical.
Reporting directly to the Manager, your role will entail: n
n
Liaising with clients directly and building on existing relationships
n
Preparing financial accounts and tax returns for individuals, trusts, companies and partnerships
n
Identifying compliance/tax issues for e.g. FBT, Div7A, small business concessions, etc
n
Performing tax planning requirements for clients
n
Preparing explicit and succinct work papers
n
Reviewing management accounts
n
Drafting advice letters on various tax issues
n




Workflow and billing management
n
Delegating, supervising and reviewing work of junior team members.
n
Applicants: n
n
Approx. 4+ years' experience in business services/tax experience in an Australian accounting firm
n
CA or CPA qualified or studying
n
Ability to manage/work towards managing client relationships and have a client-centric mindset
n
Strong attention to detail and demonstrated problem solving ability
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
