About the role

A well established and reputable firm in Cairns, North Queensland is looking to appoint a new leader at Special Counsel or Partner level. With a lengthy track record of success in the region, this is a unique chance ideally suited to a Senior Family Lawyer who leads by example and enjoys both file work and team management and leadership. Here, you can look forward to being supported by other Partners in the firm from other practice areas not only as colleagues, but as cross referrers and people you can enjoy this firm's social and collaborative culture with.

Key responsibilities

- Manage Family Law files with a realistic daily billable target of 5 hours
- Lead a Family Law team which includes a Solicitor and a Secretary
- Provide mentoring and support to your team
- Be actively involved in business development and marketing opportunities
