About Us

Einsteinz Music is a vibrant, established music education business delivering high-energy, play-based music classes to babies, toddlers and preschoolers (6 months to 5 years). Our classes are led by qualified musicians and designed to spark a love of music in young children through rhythm, song and movement.

About the Role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, musical facilitator to lead weekday classes across our venues in the Eastern Suburbs, Inner West, St George and Lower North Shore. Your classes may be at different venues on different days.

- Our weekly community classes are 45 mins each, typically 2-3 classes in a morning, a few mornings a week
- We also run 30-min classes in daycare centres and 2-hour after school care sessions, so there are opportunities across mornings and afternoons
- You’ll usually be at one venue per day, but you may be required to travel between sites
- Use our tried-and-tested Einsteinz Music format and repertoire
- Connect with children and their accompanying adult through music, movement and rhythm
- Our community classes are small (max. 12 children), but in preschools and daycare centres you could be leading a bigger group
- Training provided (length depends on how quickly you pick up the repertoire)

Term-time only (NSW school terms). Ideal for musicians with flexible schedules. Pay: $40 per hour plus super when you teach 2 or more classes. If you’re booked for just one class, we pay you for 2 hours at the minimum award rate, which comes to around $67 plus super.

✅ Confident guitar or ukulele player who can sing while playing, with a strong, clear voice

✅ Warm, engaging personality with a natural connection to young children

✅ Reliable, punctual and able to work independently

✅ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

✅ Valid Working With Children Check, or able to get one before you start

✅ Australian work rights

✅ Driver's licence and own car, and happy to travel across our Sydney venues

In the video, imagine you're running a class for 20 children aged 3 to 5. Pick one children's song and lead it as if they're right there in front of you: get them singing, moving and joining in. We want to see how you'd hold the attention of a lively group, as well as hear your voice, tuning and groove. Two to three minutes is plenty.
