A fast-growing financial services business is seeking a Finance Operations Accountant to join its high-performing finance team. Recognised as one of Australia's fastest-growing businesses, the organisation manages high-volume financial transactions and continues to expand both domestically and internationally. The Opportunity

Reporting to the CFO, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day finance operations of a high-volume business where accuracy, deadlines and continuous improvement are critical. This role sits at the centre of the organisation and offers a unique blend of finance operations, reporting, analysis and process improvement. You'll have direct exposure to the CFO, CEO and broader leadership team while helping build scalable processes to support future growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily settlements and fund allocations
- Perform trust and bank reconciliations
- Prepare management reports, KPIs and cashflow reporting
- Support FP&A; and financial analysis activities
- Drive automation and process improvement initiatives
- Manage recovery invoicing and receivables activities




- Oversee accounts payable processes
- Support operational problem-solving and ad hoc projects
- Partner closely with executives across the business

About You

You'll bring experience from a finance operations, trust accounting, banking or high-volume transactional finance environment and enjoy working in a fast-paced business where you can genuinely make an impact.

Ideally you will have

- 3+ years' experience in finance operations or a similar accounting role
- Strong reconciliation and reporting capabilities
- Experience managing competing deadlines in a high-volume setting
- A process improvement and automation mindset
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder management ability
- CA/CPA qualifications or studies in progress will be viewed favourably but are not essential
