- Full-time permanent position based in Adelaide CBD reporting to the Head of Data & Ai
- Establish and lead RAA's new AI Hub
- Shape how AI transforms member experiences, employee productivity and business performance
The Role RAA is embarking on an ambitious AI-first transformation, embedding artificial intelligence as an operating principle across the organisation rather than treating it as a standalone technology initiative. Building on trusted data, robust governance and modern platforms, we're establishing a dedicated AI Hub to accelerate the adoption of AI and unlock value for members, employees and the business.
The AI Hub will empower teams across RAA to use AI to improve insights, reporting, workflows, member journeys and service delivery. It will help our people work smarter, make better decisions and focus on the work that creates the greatest value.
As the Senior Manager, AI Hub, you'll have the rare opportunity to build this capability from the ground up. You'll establish the operating model, governance and delivery approach for the AI Hub, while leading a portfolio of AI initiatives that improve member experiences, enhance productivity and create measurable business outcomes.
Working across technology, data, risk, governance and business teams, you'll help shape how AI is adopted at scale, ensuring innovation is balanced with trust, accountability and responsible use. You'll lead a specialist team while fostering AI capability across the broader organisation, helping make AI part of how RAA works, learns and grows.
This is more than an AI leadership role. It's an opportunity to help define the future of one of South Australia's most trusted organisations.
About You
You're excited by the possibilities of AI, but equally focused on delivering practical outcomes. You understand that successful AI adoption isn't just about technology. It's about people, capability, governance, culture and creating real business value.
You're a strategic leader who can bring together diverse stakeholders,
navigate complexity and translate emerging technologies into meaningful organisational outcomes. You know how to move from vision to execution and have the credibility to influence at senior leadership levels.
We're looking for someone with:
- Significant experience leading AI, data, digital or business transformation initiatives in complex environments
- A track record of translating strategic ambitions into prioritised portfolios and measurable outcomes
- Experience establishing or leading enterprise capabilities, centres of excellence or transformation functions
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence leaders across technology, business, risk and governance functions
- An understanding of responsible AI, governance, risk and compliance frameworks required to scale AI safely and effectively
- A passion for building capability, driving adoption and helping organisations embrace new ways of working
When you join RAA, you'll find more than just a leadership role:
- The chance to establish and lead a brand-new enterprise AI Hub
- The ability to influence how AI is adopted across one of South Australia's largest and most trusted organisations
- A chance to shape the future of member service, decision-making and operational excellence through AI
- The opportunity to build a high-performing specialist team and organisation-wide AI capability
- A highly visible role working at the centre of RAA's strategic transformation agenda
- The chance to help create an AI-enabled organisation where technology empowers people to do their best work
