Air Conditioning Apprentice

Elegant Air Conditioning Pty Ltd | Sydney, NSW

Full-Time Apprenticeship | Air Conditioning & Refrigeration

Elegant Air Conditioning is looking for a motivated Air Conditioning Apprentice to join our growing team.

We specialise in high-quality residential and construction projects across Sydney, working on everything from split and ducted air conditioning through to premium Daikin VRV systems and custom installations.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn the trade properly, work alongside experienced tradesmen and build a long-term career in the air conditioning industry.

The Role

As an apprentice, you’ll work alongside our qualified tradesmen and gain hands-on experience across all aspects of air conditioning installation, including:

- Split, ducted and VRV air conditioning systems
- Refrigeration pipework and installation
- Ductwork, grilles and mechanical services
- Electrical and control cabling associated with AC installations
- Pressure testing, commissioning and fault finding
- New builds, renovations and high-end residential projects
- Servicing and maintenance
- Learning to read plans and understand complete AC installations

We don't expect you to know everything from day one. We do expect you to turn up, work hard, listen and be willing to learn.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who:

- Is reliable and punctual
- Has a strong work ethic
- Takes pride in their work
- Is willing to learn and take direction
- Can work well as part of a small team
- Is physically capable of working in a construction environment
- Has good attention to detail
- Wants to build a long-term career in the industry

A current driver's licence and your own transport are highly regarded. Previous construction or air conditioning experience is an advantage but not essential for a first-year applicant.

Existing 2nd, 3rd or 4th-year apprentices are also encouraged to apply.

Why Join Elegant Air?

You'll be joining a small, growing company where you'll get genuine hands-on experience rather than being stuck doing the same basic tasks every day.

We work on a variety of quality projects and place a solid emphasis on workmanship, presentation and doing the job properly.

For the right person, there is an opportunity to progress from apprentice to qualified tradesman and continue growing with Elegant Air Conditioning long term.

If you're reliable, motivated and serious about becoming a qualified Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Technician, we'd like to hear from you.

Pay: $20.00 – $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
