About the Opportunity An opportunity has arisen for an Alternate Underground Manager to oversee our brand-new Gossan Valley mine, at our Golden Grove operation in Western Australia. This site-based role reports to the Underground Manager and operates on an 8:6 roster. Your focus will be on supporting the safe and productive management of all underground mining activities.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

- Managing underground operations to ensure safety, contractual, and statutory compliance while achieving production and cost targets.
- Leading engineers to develop schedules and plans aligned with production goals.
- Overseeing stope and development designs, production drilling, charging plans, and QA/QC.
- Conducting underground inspections and collaborating with contractors to implement designs and address non-compliance.
- Fostering collaboration between Technical Services, underground teams, and contractors to optimise performance.
- Driving continuous improvement, contributing to business plans and budgets, and identifying cost-effective operational enhancements.

About You Our ideal candidate will have a strong underground mining engineering background,



including contractor management experience.

Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:

- Tertiary qualification in mining engineering.
- First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate.
- Proven ability to lead teams in delivering executable mine plans and schedules.
- Current C-class manual driver’s licence.
