Lead our enterprise strategy in disability care. Join a company with a quality product and an established brand, and build a new enterprise segment with uncapped commission and a team behind you.
Why We Have This RoleAusmed is hiring an Account Executive to build our new business in the disability care sector.
We already help healthcare organisations build workforce capability, and we currently support a mid-market cohort of disability providers. We are now taking an enterprise-focused strategy into the disability care sector. This is a deliberate strategic opportunity, and we are looking for a hungry individual to own it.
You will work with large disability providers, including supported independent living and community support organisations. Your buyers are senior leaders responsible for compliance, workforce development, and quality and safety outcomes.
Ausmed's mission is to improve care by building capability. Our philosophy is simple: build relationships that last, build products that last.
How You'll Find Success
- Break into a new market at enterprise level. There is no inherited enterprise pipeline and no well-worn playbook. You decide which organisations to target first, who to call, and how to win.
- Run your patch like your own business. You own the strategy, the pipeline and the result.
- Work with a product that has proven product-market fit in enterprise healthcare, aged care and mid-market disability care. Customers buy because they see real value.
- Earn uncapped commission with no ceiling. Overachievers get paid like overachievers.
- Build your own pipeline. This is a hunting role. You will source most of your opportunities through outreach, events, and relationship-building.
- Get in front of the right people. Ausmed invests in conferences and face-to-face industry events, and these are your richest source of pipeline and relationships.
- Shape how we go to market in disability. Your insights will set our messaging, positioning, and strategy for the sector.
- Get genuine coaching from a sales leader who wants you to win.
You will have room to run and support when you need it.
What You'll Do
- Build and own the enterprise disability care pipeline. Research large providers, map decision-makers across multiple stakeholders, and run outreach to create your own opportunities.
- Run longer, more complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders, and build the business case for each one.
- Test, learn and adjust. Try new angles, track what works, and share it with the team.
- Sell to senior decision-makers responsible for workforce capability, compliance, and quality outcomes.
- Run sales cycles from first conversation to signed contract. Own the full deal cycle.
- Diagnose business priorities, beyond the surface pain. Explain value in terms your buyer cares about.
- Build your understanding of the disability sector, including the NDIS Practice Standards and the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements.
- Work with Product, Customer Success, and Marketing to help drive your success.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and be proactive.
Experience, Skills and Attributes
- Preferably 2+ years in a business development or account executive role, hitting performance and activity-based targets.
- Experience in disability care, NDIS, healthcare or tech is an advantage. It is not essential.
- An entrepreneurial mindset. You have started something, built something, or taken a risk on a new opportunity, in work or outside it.
- A strong self-motivator. You set your own pace, you don't wait to be told what to do next, and you keep going when the pipeline is empty.
- Comfortable with ambiguity. You can work without a map and still make progress each week.
- A growth mindset and a real interest in coaching and development.
- Strong organisational skills. You can manage multiple deals without dropping the ball.
- Personable and ambitious. People enjoy talking to you, and you care about the people disability providers support.
- Tech-savvy and able to work well in a hybrid environment.
