Aurum Accounting Group is growing, and we're looking for accountants at all levels to join our team in Geelong.

We're open to speaking with Graduate/Junior Accountants through to experienced Senior Accountants, depending on your skills, experience and career goals.

This is more than simply filling an accounting position. What you'll be responsible for

Your responsibilities will be tailored to your level of experience and may include:

- Preparing financial statements, tax returns and other accounting and compliance work
- Maintaining accurate financial records and completing reconciliations
- Preparing management accounts and financial reports
- Assisting clients with their accounting and taxation requirements
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients
- Providing practical accounting and financial advice
- Working with the broader team to deliver a high level of client service
- Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and efficiencies




- Taking on increasing responsibility as your experience and knowledge develops

What we're looking for

We're interested in people at different stages of their accounting careers.

For Graduate/Junior Accountants/Administrator:

- Tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related discipline, or currently completing one
- A genuine interest in developing a career in public practice
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Good communication and organisational skills
- A positive, team-oriented attitude
- Previous accounting or public practice experience is advantageous but not essential

For Experienced/Senior Accountants:

- Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related discipline
- Previous experience in public practice or professional services
- Robust knowledge of Australian accounting and taxation requirements
- Experience with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- CPA or CA qualified, studying towards, or willing to commence
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of client work

For all levels, we're looking for someone who is ambitious, reliable,



commercially minded and genuinely interested in growing with the business.

Australian citizenship is required for this position.
