About the role:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-focused Accounts Officer – Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable to join our finance team.
This is a hands-on role within our finance function, responsible for the accurate and timely management of accounts payable and receivable, maintaining financial records and supporting the wider finance team with day-to-day and month-end activities.
Your responsibilities will include
- Processing supplier invoices, payments and AR/AP transactions
- Coding and processing invoices in accordance with Company procedures
- Processing customer payments, receipts, invoices and credit notes
- Monitoring customer accounts and following up outstanding balances
- Completing bank and account reconciliations
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Assisting with month-end processes and reconciliations
- Providing general accounting and administrative support to the finance team
About you: We are looking for an experienced accounts professional who is organised, reliable and takes pride in maintaining a high standard of accuracy.
You will have
- Minimum 2 years' experience in accounts payable and receivable
- Experience with Xero, NetSuite or other accounting systems
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Good understanding of accounting processes and financial records
- Robust organisational and time management skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
