Our office is positive and dynamic, fast paced and busy, and we are looking for someone who has flexible availability for this newly created casual position.
Initially this role will be 3-4 hours each day. There is room for growth and learning and as the business continues to grow there is potential for the role to become fulltime for the right candidate.
The main features of this role is to assist in entering supplier invoices, taking customer payments, processing end of month customer payments, converting customer quotes to invoices. Training in sales will be gradually integrated into this role with the view for it to be involved in both data entry and sales as the role grows. A friendly manner and keen to learn will go a long way in this business.
No previous experience in roofing retail is required, there will be on the job training so bring your attention to detail and positive attitude.
Key responsibilities
- Providing exceptional customer service and assistance to all customers
- Learning from our very experienced and knowledgeable Sales Supervisor
- Ensuring the correct information is entered the first time
- Processing purchase orders and supplier documentation
- Data entry and document management
- MYOB experience would be helpful but not essential
- Computer literacy, excel, word,
- Comfortable speaking with clients, staff & suppliers on the phone
- Excellent time management
- General administration and office support
- Ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance in all administrative activities
