About the role
This is a full-time general admin support role reporting to the Practice Manager. You'll look after the day-to-day running of the office, from front desk and mail to keeping the kitchen and meeting rooms in good shape. It suits someone practical who's happy to help with a wide range of tasks.
What you'll be doing
Front office and communication
- Answering phone calls and directing queries to the right person
- Greeting visitors and handling general enquiries
- Monitoring shared inboxes and passing on mail and messages
Office administration
- Collecting and distributing incoming and outgoing mail
- Visiting the post office for lodgements and collections
- Handling basic banking, including deposits and collections
- Filing, scanning and basic record keeping
Office presentation
- Keeping the kitchen and common areas clean and tidy
- Loading and unloading the dishwasher and keeping kitchen supplies stocked
- Making sure meeting rooms are ready before and after use
- Helping with general day-to-day office upkeep
Supplies and errands
- Buying groceries and kitchen supplies as needed
- Monitoring stock levels of office supplies and consumables
- Running ad-hoc errands and office runs
General support
- Helping staff where needed
- Supporting the Practice Manager with ad-hoc admin tasks
- Doing other reasonable duties to keep the office running smoothly
