Provide high-quality administrative and financial support to CDU’s TAFE Division, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional customer service.

About the Position

As the Administration Officer, you will provide high-quality administrative and financial support to CDU’s TAFE Professional Service Industries Division, ensuring the smooth delivery of day-to-day operations across its vocational education and training teams. Working collaboratively with staff and key stakeholders, you will coordinate administrative processes, financial transactions, travel arrangements and events, while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, maintain effective working relationships and support the efficient delivery of the Division’s services and activities.

About You To be successful, you will require:

- A minimum Certificate III qualification with relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage sensitively with culturally diverse stakeholders.
- Sound computer literacy skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, building positive and respectful relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Commitment to the University’s values.

Additional Competencies at Skilled Level 5

- Certificate IV in Business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant knowledge, training and experience.
- Strong administrative skills, with demonstrated initiative and a commitment to delivering quality customer service and supporting team outcomes.
- Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to exercise initiative, discretion and sound judgement in a challenging environment.

Appointment is contingent upon receipt of a satisfactory National Criminal History check and a valid NT Working with Children clearance

Remuneration

Appointment to this role will be at Professional Level 4/5. The base salary will be in the range of $72,348- $90,610 per annum.



The total remuneration package will be in the range of $84,647 - $106,013 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
