About the role
We are seeking a highly organised, customer-focused Administration Officer to join our team.
The successful candidate will be a good team player with a can-do attitude, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Your major duties include, but are not limited to:
- Managing incoming and outgoing mail and emails, ensuring they are attended to, sorted and distributed promptly.
- Acting as the first point of contact for customers and visitors
- Maintaining accurate records, filing and archiving.
- Process payments for banking.
- Assisting with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, including processing and responding to queries.
- Providing professional and friendly customer service.
- Supporting team members with general administration and day-to-day business requirements.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and professional workplace.
- Assisting with other duties as reasonably required.
About You To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following competencies:
- Previous administration experience.
- Strong customer service experience or a customer-focused approach.
- Excellent data entry skills and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good time management and the ability to prioritise competing tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Previous SAP experience is preferred.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to maintaining a clean, safe and professional workplace.
