Kitchen Vision is a well established business in the Penrith area, looking for a motivated Apprentice Cabinet Maker / Joiner to join our growing team. Specialising in high quality kitchens, joinery and bathroom renovations, we're passionate about providing quality workmanship and exceptional service to our customers and have a wide range of exciting projects underway.
About the role
You'll be supported by experienced tradespeople and given genuine opportunities to grow your skills and responsibilities across both the workshop and site, gaining hands on experience in cabinet making and joinery work.
Key responsibilities
- Operating workshop machinery including a CNC and Edgebander
- Cabinet and joinery assembly
- Building custom kitchens, vanities, wardrobes and built in cabinetry
- Reading plans and shop drawings
- Preparing joinery for delivery
- Assisting with site installation and fit out
- Measuring, finishing and quality control
- Maintaining a clean and organised workshop and work area

- Hands on and practical
- Takes pride in producing quality work

- Can take direction but also use initiative
- Good communication skills
- Organised and looks after tools and equipment
- Wants to build a long term career in the industry
- Works well as part of a team
- Driver's licence required
- Own transport to and from work (work vehicle provided for site installations)
