Metro South Health is looking for an Asset Officer to join our Capital and Asset Management team. This is an chance to build your experience in asset accounting and financial administration while supporting the effective management of assets across one of Queensland’s largest public health services.

About This Role

This position is identified as a frontline support role and is outside the scope of the Responsible Corporate Workforce Management requirements.

Your New Role

As an Asset Officer, you will support the effective and efficient delivery of Asset Services across Metro South Health, ensuring asset information is accurate, current and managed in accordance with relevant accounting requirements, policies and procedures.

About You

You will be someone who combines accuracy and attention to detail with robust organisation, communication and customer service skills.

You Will Ideally Bring

- Working knowledge of integrated financial management systems and relevant applications, including SAP S/4HANA, databases and spreadsheets.

- Strong data entry and data integrity skills.

- The ability to organise priorities and manage workloads effectively.

- An understanding of policies, procedures and requirements relevant to asset management.

- The ability to build effective relationships with clients, stakeholders and colleagues.

- A collaborative approach and commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work.
