McGrath Beenleigh is seeking an Assistant Commercial Property Manager to join our dynamic team in Beenleigh, Queensland. This is a full-time position that offers an excellent chance to develop your career in commercial property management. You will work alongside experienced professionals, supporting the management and administration of commercial properties within our portfolio.
This role is essential to maintaining our high standards of service and ensuring that our commercial clients and tenants receive exceptional support throughout their leasing journey.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with the day-to-day administration and management of commercial properties, including lease management and tenant relations
- Support the collection of rental payments and chase outstanding accounts
- Coordinate maintenance and repair requests, liaising between tenants, landlords and service providers
- Prepare and maintain accurate property files, documentation and records
- Assist with property inspections and condition reports
- Support the preparation of rental appraisals and market analysis information
- Provide administrative support for lease negotiations and contract management
- Respond to tenant and landlord enquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Support compliance and regulatory requirements for commercial properties
What we're looking for
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, tenants and colleagues
- Proficiency with computer systems, including property management software and Microsoft Office applications
- Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and record keeping
- A proactive and professional approach to problem-solving
- Customer service experience, ideally in a property or real estate environment
- Knowledge of commercial property management practices and procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of relevant property legislation and compliance requirements is desirable
- A genuine interest in pursuing a career in commercial property management
