Gulgong Multi Purpose Service

About the role In this role, you will join the team at Gulgong Multi Purpose Service where you will be closely supported by the Nurse Manager, Registered & Enrolled nurses to expand your clinical skillset and be encouraged to learn.

The Assistant in Nursing is an integral part of the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Gulgong MPS has 6 residential aged care beds, 4 subacute and 2 ED beds. With a small team of nurses, one RN and one EN on each shift.

The team prides itself on the care they provide to the patients and residents.

You’ll have robust communication, empathy, and customer service skills while you assist patients with their daily routines, such as showering, toileting, dressing, eating, communication, mobility, medication, and exercise. You’ll keenly observe those in your care, work well within a team and work within the CORE values of NSW Health.

You will have a current licence to drive in NSW with the ability to drive for work purposes & the willingness to work shifts, on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
