The Role
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and passion-driven Full time Assistant Spa Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of Day Spa by Chuan.
In this leadership role, you will directly report to the Director of Spa and act as a primary resource for our spa reception and therapist teams, driving operational excellence,
supporting financial and marketing strategies, and upholding our world-class service standards.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Manage daily spa operations, maintain up-to-date Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and serve as the key point of contact for team questions, guidance, and issue resolution
- Conduct training sessions on treatments and product knowledge, lead regular staff meetings, and assist with performance appraisals and staff incentive programs.
- Monitor guest satisfaction through surveys and feedback, ensuring that treatment protocols and guest journeys consistently reflect luxury spa standards
- Oversee efficient treatment scheduling to optimize revenue and therapist utilization, manage inventory control and purchasing in compliance with brand standards.
- Collaborate with the Director of Spa to execute marketing strategies and stay attuned to international spa and wellness trends
- Deliver bespoke treatments during peak business demand when required
Skills And Experiences
- 3-5+ years in a luxury hotel spa or beauty environment preferred
- Certificate or Diploma in Beauty Therapy required. Certificate IV in Training & Assessment is a plus
- Proven retail sales background with a dedication to superior guest care
- Impeccable personal grooming while representing Langham Hospitality Group values
- Strong communication skills, sharp attention to detail, and strict policy adherence
- Valid Australian work rights with full availability for weekends and public holidays
