The Associate Director, Workplace Relations leads the delivery of contemporary industrial and employment relations strategies, providing specialist advice to executives and key stakeholder groups while supporting the effective management of complex workforce and industrial matters. The role will also partner with Local Health Districts to deliver timely, evidence-based industrial relations advice that supports informed decision-making, effective risk management, and positive workforce outcomes.

Ideal Candidate

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Law, Industrial Relations,



Employment Law, Human Resources Management, or equivalent and/or extensive practical experience in managing industrial employment matters in a large diverse service industry organisation.
- Expert knowledge of the NSW (State) Industrial Relations system and related frameworks with demonstrated experience in effective employer advocacy before state and commonwealth regulators, including the NSW Industrial Relations Commission, the Australian Human Rights Commissions and the NSW Antidiscrimination Board. Demonstrated experience in briefing counsel.
- Experience in providing high quality industrial and employee relations advice together with the ability to manage complex industrial matters including interpretation of industrial, legislative and policy instruments and negotiations with employee representatives and unions.
