Role Description The Associate Lecturer – Academic Clinical Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Sydney Area. This position coordinates and supports clinical education activities, including scheduling placements, liaising with clinical partners, and ensuring alignment between clinical experiences and academic requirements. The role involves teaching and supporting students in clinical settings, providing guidance, feedback, and supervision to facilitate safe, effective practice.

The Academic Clinical

Coordinator collaborates with academic staff and external stakeholders to maintain quality standards, monitor student progress, and contribute to curriculum development related to clinical education.



The role also requires participation in administrative duties, adherence to university policies and social media guidelines, and engagement in continuous improvement initiatives across clinical programs.

Qualifications

- Relevant tertiary qualification in a health-related discipline and eligibility for professional registration (where applicable).
- Experience in clinical education coordination, including organizing placements, supervising students, and working with clinical partners.
- Demonstrated teaching and mentoring capabilities, with the ability to support diverse learners in academic and clinical environments.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, including attention to detail, time management, and use of digital tools for scheduling and record-keeping.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and external stakeholders.
- Understanding of quality assurance, risk management, and compliance requirements in clinical education settings.
- Commitment to equity, inclusion, social impact, and sustainability in higher education and clinical practice.
- Desirable: Experience in curriculum development, educational research, and familiarity with UTS or similar university systems and guidelines.
