We are seeking Audit and Compliance Directors to join our Compliance and Engagement Group.
You will lead people, programs and strategic outcomes in complex and dynamic environments. Drive priorities, build capability, influence stakeholders, provide authoritative advice and deliver outcomes that shape the ATO's approach to significant and emerging tax issues.
As an Audit and Compliance Director, you will work on some of Australia's most significant and complex direct and indirect tax matters across a diverse range of client groups and programs, including small business, public and multinational groups, privately owned and wealthy groups, superannuation and employer obligations, individuals and intermediaries, and tax integrity programs.
You will play a critical role in protecting the integrity of Australia's tax and superannuation systems by addressing complex risks, influencing significant decisions and helping shape the administration of the tax system into the future.
Whether your strengths lie in leading teams and programs or providing technical leadership on complex tax matters, you will influence stakeholders, provide explicit and authoritative advice and contribute to outcomes that support the effective administration of Australia's tax and superannuation systems.
Successful candidates may be placed into Client Engagement Director or Tax Specialist Director roles based on organisational requirements and their skills, experience, leadership capability and technical expertise.

These roles may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in Adelaide, Albury, Box Hill (VIC), Brisbane CBD, Canberra, Dandenong, Geelong, Gosford, Hobart, Melbourne CBD, Moonee Ponds, Newcastle, Parramatta, Penrith, Perth, Sydney CBD, Townsville, Upper Mount Gravatt or Wollongong.
