Our client, SenseNet, is a Canadian technology company specialising in ultra-early wildfire detection and environmental monitoring. The company develops and deploys integrated intelligence systems that combine AI-enabled optical and thermal cameras, ground-based environmental sensors, satellite data, and advanced analytics to detect wildfire ignitions at the earliest possible stage and provide decision-support to emergency responders and asset owners.

SenseNet’s platform is designed to operate in complex, high-risk environments, delivering continuous situational awareness across large and often remote geographies. By fusing multiple data sources into a single operational view, SenseNet enables earlier detection, faster verification, and more informed response planning, supporting improved outcomes for public safety, environmental protection, and critical infrastructure resilience.

SenseNet’s technology is currently deployed across North America and other international markets, working with governments, utilities, land managers, and infrastructure operators to reduce the impact of catastrophic wildfires.

SenseNet is expanding its presence in Australia in response to increasing bushfire risk and growing demand from forestry, land-management, infrastructure and government organisations for advanced early-warning capability.

As part of this expansion, SenseNet is seeking to establish a sustained in-market commercial presence to develop a strong customer pipeline, progress pilots and trials, and convert interest into long-term contracts and partnerships.

Role Purpose The Australia Sales & Business Development Manager will lead SenseNet’s commercial growth in Australia, with responsibility for building pipeline, developing customer relationships, progressing opportunities and delivering commercial outcomes.

This is fundamentally a sales role. Demonstrated success in B2B, enterprise, technology or solution-based sales is a significant prerequisite. The successful candidate will be expected to independently identify prospective customers, qualify opportunities, manage complex sales processes and convert interest into pilots, deployments and contracted revenue.

Acting as SenseNet’s principal in-market commercial representative, the role will focus on forestry and land-management organisations, utilities, rail operators, mining companies, critical infrastructure owners and other organisations operating in bushfire-prone or high-risk environments.

Experience in forestry, bushfire, fire management or land management is highly desirable, particularly where it includes established industry relationships or a strong understanding of operational fire-risk requirements.

The role will form part of SenseNet’s broader Australian market presence and will work in coordination with Crestview Strategy and SenseNet’s global technical and commercial teams as opportunities develop.

The role requires a high degree of autonomy, strong commercial judgement and the discipline to manage long-cycle enterprise sales processes while representing an international technology company in a developing market.
