Dak Hanmari is a Korean chicken hotpot restaurant in Doncaster East.

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Staff / Cook to join our team.

Your role The kitchen work is not difficult and can be easily learned. There are just a variety of small tasks to keep the kitchen running smoothly.

Your main duties will include:

- Managing and preparing chicken broth
- Preparing and organising vegetables
- Basic food preparation
- Chicken preparation
- Boiling chicken
- Frying chicken
- Making Korean pancakes (Jeon)
- General kitchen preparation and cleaning
- Helping the kitchen team during service
- Following food safety and hygiene procedures

No complicated cooking is required. The work is straightforward and training can be provided. There are simply different small tasks to complete throughout the shift.

We are looking for someone who

- Can work weekends
- Is reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Has a positive attitude and is willing to learn
- Can work well as part of a team
- 1+ year of kitchen experience is preferred




- Experience or training in cooking in Australia is highly regarded
- Korean-speaking applicants are preferred
- Applicants living locally in or near Doncaster East are preferred

Hours
- Wednesday to Sunday
- Part time / Casual
- Lunch and dinner shifts available
- Regular shifts available for the right person

Pay $27–$35 per hour, depending on experience and applicable award rates.

Under-age employees will be paid the applicable junior/under-age award rate.
