About the role

K & K P Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Barber with a minimum of 2 years' professional experience to join our team in Nhulunbuy, NT. What you'll be doing

- Providing professional haircuts, shaves and grooming services to clients using appropriate techniques and quality tools
- Maintaining a clean, hygienic and welcoming salon environment in accordance with health and safety standards
- Consulting with clients to understand their grooming preferences and recommending suitable styles and treatments
- Managing client bookings and scheduling appointments efficiently to maximise salon capacity
- Maintaining and sterilising all barbering tools and equipment to the highest hygiene standards
- Building positive relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty
- Keeping up to date with current barbering trends and techniques to offer contemporary services
- Handling cash and card payments accurately and maintaining transaction records
- Contributing to a positive team environment and supporting colleagues as required

What we're looking for

- Minimum 2 years of professional barbering experience with a proven track record of quality work
- Current or eligible for a relevant barbering qualification or certification
- Proficiency in a range of barbering techniques including clipper work, scissor cutting, shaving and fading
- Strong knowledge of health,



safety and hygiene practices within a salon environment
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with diverse clients
- A keen eye for detail and commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality results
- Reliable, professional attitude with strong work ethic and punctuality

- Physical fitness for standing for extended periods and performing accurate manual work
