Location: Deakin, ACT (below ACT Day Hospital, off Geils Ct)

Position: Barista (Part time / Full-Time)

Our Little Café is looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Barista

Located at ACT Day Hospital in Deakin, Our Little Café proudly serves hospital staff, patients, visitors, and the wider Deakin community.

We are seeking someone who is passionate about delivering great coffee, enjoys simple food preparation, and provides warm and welcoming customer service.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve coffee, and other beverages to a high standard
- Provide warm and welcoming customer service
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, and POS systems
- Assist with food preparation,



including making sandwiches and light café meals
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the café, kitchen, and workstation
- Handle POS system and card payments accurately
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required
- Keep track of stock levels

Essential Criteria:

- Previous barista or hospitality experience
- Comfortable with light food preparation
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Monday - Friday
- Reliable, positive, and able to work independently
- Food Safety Training essential and hold the following:
- SITXFSA005 Use Hygienic Practices for food Safety – Essential
- SITXFSA006 Participate in Safe Food Handling Practices – Essential
