Junior Behaviour Support Practitioner – Supervised Practice and Suitability Pathway

Elevate Health Supports PTY LTD is seeking a compassionate, organised and motivated Junior Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career practitioner with relevant qualifications and disability, education, allied-health, mental-health or human-services experience who wants to develop a career in Positive Behaviour Support.

Mandatory requirement

A three year psychology degree (Approved by the Australian Psychology Societ).

You will work directly under the supervision of an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner and receive structured clinical supervision, mentoring, professional development and practical exposure to participant-centred PBS work. You will assist with observations, data collection, stakeholder engagement, resource development, case documentation and implementation support while building a portfolio toward an application for NDIS Commission suitability.





We are looking for someone who is person-centred, reflective, reliable, comfortable receiving feedback and committed to the rights and inclusion of people with disability. Experience is valued, but we are particularly interested in applicants who demonstrate strong values, excellent written communication, sound qualified boundaries and a genuine willingness to learn.

Important: This position is a supervised developmental role. The successful applicant will work within their competence and delegated scope and will not independently undertake functional behaviour assessments or develop behaviour support plans until assessed as suitable by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.

Hourly rate starting from $65an hour.

Pay: $50.00 – $75.00 per hour
