Avina
New South Wales
New name, familiar faces.
Avina might be a new name, but there’s a good chance you already know us. We’ve brought together our legacy brands — Therapy Pro, Adaptability
Therapy and Tashacare — into one national allied health community, with 400+ clinicians across NSW, QLD, VIC and SA.
And we’re growing our Goulburn Behaviour Support team!
We’re looking for an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner who is currently registered with the NDIS Commission at Core level or above to join us in Goulburn.
This is a great opportunity if you enjoy the flexibility of community work but still want somewhere to come back to. You’ll have a mix of clinic and community-based Behaviour Support, with access to our Goulburn clinic, local team and broader multidisciplinary network.
A quick note before you apply: For this particular vacancy, we’re looking for practitioners who already hold Core, Proficient, Advanced or Specialist practitioner status with the NDIS Commission.
Unfortunately, we’re not able to consider entry-level or IBIS practitioners for this one.
What the role looks like You’ll manage a varied Behaviour Support caseload across Goulburn and surrounding communities, completing functional behaviour assessments, developing Behaviour Support Plans and working closely with participants, families and support networks.
You’ll have flexibility to manage your own schedule,
while staying connected through regular supervision, peer support and collaboration with clinicians across Behaviour Support, OT, Speech Pathology, Psychology, Physiotherapy and other allied health disciplines.
What You’ll Get At Avina
- A genuine mix of Goulburn clinic and community-based work
- Flexibility and autonomy in how you structure your day
- Structured clinical supervision and experienced Behaviour Support support
- A connected multidisciplinary team
- Ongoing professional development and career opportunities
- Access to the systems, resources and clinical tools of a national organisation
- Supportive local leadership without losing the perks of a larger clinical network
What we’re looking for You’ll already hold NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner suitability at Core level or above, with experience delivering Positive Behaviour Support and confidence completing functional behaviour assessments and Behaviour Support Plans. You’ll also need a driver’s licence, Australian working rights and the relevant NDIS/WWCC screening requirements.
Flexibility doesn’t have to mean working alone.
If you’re an experienced BSP looking for more autonomy while still having a clinic, team and clinical network around you, we’d love to hear from you.
