Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Boilermaker to join their team. This is an excellent chance for a tradesperson with a background across manufacturing, mining or heavy industry.

Details

- Location - Mt Isa, QLD - some remote sites requirements
- Hours - Monday to Saturday, 8 hour days with ocassional overtime
- Pay rates - $48-$60/hour + penalties + super

Description

Duties:

Cutting, bending, shaping and welding of various steel sections and plates

Liaise with leading hand, fabrication shop in all aspects of work processes

Ensure customer requirements are met at all times

Ensure company Quality Assurance requirements are complied with on all work

Work individually and as part of team to ensure a harmonious workplace

Involvement in training of apprentices to ensure skill methods are transferred onto apprentices

Profile

- Australian Trade Qualification - Boilermaking or equivelant
- Previous experience in manufacturing, mining or heavy industry
- Previous line boring experience highly regarded
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
