Rae Recruitment is excited to partner with a well-established boutique bookkeeping firm in the south-eastern suburbs, looking for a talented Bookkeeper to join their friendly and supportive team.

Ideally, they would like someone full time, however, could consider 30 hours per week as well.

This is more than just a bookkeeping role, it’s an opportunity to be part of a close-knit firm that values your input and offers genuine flexibility, including one day per week working from home.

What you’ll be doing:

- Accounts payable and receivables
- Weekly payroll for clients
- General ledger
- Assisting with the preparation and lodgement of Income Tax Returns
- Assisting with BAS preparation and reconciliations
- Keeping client files compliant and up to date

Who we’re looking for:

- Experience using MYOB or Xero is essential for this position




- Minimum 18 months’ experience as a bookkeeper, ideally within a public practice setting
- Confident in client communication
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A proactive, positive attitude and eagerness to learn and develop
