We are seeking an experienced Building Supervisor to lead and support our factory teams in delivering high-quality modular builds safely, efficiently and on schedule.
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will oversee employees, subcontractors and external contractors across multiple builds. You will coordinate labour, materials and services, maintain workflow and ensure each build meets the required safety, quality, budget and delivery standards.
This is a hands-on supervisory role for someone who enjoys coordinating teams, driving productivity and delivering quality outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, support and mentor employees and contractors to achieve performance targets and KPIs
- Coordinate multiple builds through to completion, ensuring deadlines, budgets and quality standards are met
- Plan labour, materials, contractors and services to maintain an efficient production workflow
- Monitor work practices, team performance, contractor performance and areas requiring rework
- Work closely with Production, Procurement, Projects, Scheduling and other departments
- Coordinate quality inspections and ensure current drawings and job requirements are communicated
- Maintain safe systems of work and ensure WHSEQ procedures are followed
- Contribute to production planning, reporting, continuous improvement and waste reduction initiatives
About you
You are a practical and approachable supervisor who can confidently coordinate people, priorities and competing deadlines. You communicate clearly, maintain high standards and are comfortable taking ownership in a busy factory setting.
What you’ll bring
- A relevant trade qualification or a minimum of five years’ trade experience
- Previous supervisory experience, preferably within construction or manufacturing
- The ability to interpret construction drawings and understand project planning
- Knowledge of Australian Standards, regulations and construction techniques
- A current Western Australian driver’s licence and White Card
- Strong planning, organisation and problem-solving skills
- Confidence using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Modular building experience and a forklift licence will be highly regarded
