Your career with Council could start here!
Looking for a rewarding career? Keen to help your community? Ready to learn current skills, gain a qualification and get paid while you do it? Start your career with Charters Towers Regional Council as one of our four Business Trainees in 2027! Each traineeship gives you experience in a different area of Council, and all four trainees complete the same nationally recognised Certificate III in Business.
Whether you’re finishing school, returning to the workforce, or ready to take your career in a new direction, you don’t need years of experience to get started. We’re looking for people who are ready to learn, have a go, work as part of a team and build their future.
